Why This Exists
For a long time, I thought that if I kept learning, kept saying yes, and kept working hard, the path would naturally unfold.
Sometimes it did.
A lot of the time, it just kept me busy.
That is the pattern I see in a lot of cybersecurity careers.

My Why
A decade into my cybersecurity career, I took the CISSP, and suddenly, doors opened. My career was booming, but I was drowning—three young kids, a husband I barely saw, and a mother whose health was failing. The demands of work, family, and personal challenges kept coming, and I had to figure out how to grow without sacrificing everything else that mattered.
That journey changed everything. I stopped just surviving and started designing my life—learning how to set clear priorities, build meaningful habits, and grow in a way that felt right for me.
Now, I help other cybersecurity professionals do the same.
